GIANTS OF THE DEEP

Project Details: A personal project filmed in the Azores Islands in October 2022, with the collaboration of Futurismo Azores Adventures. The aim was to collect data and underwater footage of the behaviors and individuals of sperm whales and other cetaceans around these islands.

According to the regional legislation, swimming with whales and other cetaceans that are not dolphins is forbidden in the Azores. This work was performed under the authorization nº 14-ORAC-2022 issued by the Government, on the date: 15/09/2022.
